Shallex Obale, born Zeremo Ushahemba, is a dynamic Benue–Taraba-based rapper, singer, and recording artist signed under Vagba Vibes. A graduate of B.Sc. Physics from Taraba State University, Jalingo, Shallex represents a new generation of independent Nigerian artists who combine raw authenticity, memorable melodies, energetic delivery, and real-life experiences to create music that connects with listeners.
Raised in a family of six as the only son among five sisters, Shallex comes from a hardworking family of civil servants. His upbringing between Benue State and Taraba State has played an important role in shaping his identity, sound, and perspective as an artist.
Known for his good vibes, versatility, and back-to-back hits, Shallex Obale has built a growing catalogue of songs including “Agbe,” “Akuhe,” “Blow,” “Feeling De Nigga,” “Bae Back” featuring DJ Dyphrenz, “Vagba,” and several other unreleased and released records.
